tech talk : one giant leap forward

Raise your hands and wave hello to the future.

For the first time, you can control your computer in three dimensions using just your hand and finger movements with the help of Leap Motion enabled software.  According to the San Francisco based startup:
"The possibilities are endless, really. Art. Healthcare. Engineering. Gaming. If you can imagine it, we're pretty confident there's a remarkable member of our developer community who's already making it a reality."
The Leap, from Leap Motion, measures your individual hand and finger movements to within a hundredth of a millimeter so you can interact directly with your computer. It is as simple as connecting an iPod-sized device to instantly create 8 cubic feet of awesome, intuitive, 3D interaction space. The company has already made more than 12,000 Leaps available to developers, and will launch, exclusively at, sometime in February.
